Meet Brian Smidt, our Director of Construction Services for Value First. He will be your guide throughout the cost savings process from your initial consultation to your ribbon cutting ceremony.

Brian started with Value First in May of 2015 as the Director of Construction Services. He assists members by partnering with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver value and transparency during construction projects.

Brian brings over a decade of facilities management, construction administration, and healthcare operations experience. He served as a member of the LeadingAge National Leadership and Education Committee from 2009-2011 and former member of the LeadingAge Facilities Management Roundtable. He brings experience and knowledge of both healthcare construction and long term care operations and understands the challenges that face our members.

Brian has a BS in Facilities Management from North Dakota State University and a MA in Management from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
